SCOTT RESIDENCE

Designed for an avid rock climber, this remodel excavates the center of this house to connect the many levels through a canyon-like space with undulating walls beneath a giant skylight. Bridges, stairs and a 30-foot climbing wall provide circulation through this three bedroom, 2-1/2 bath, 2000 square foot house and 800 square foot in-law unit.
Located in San Francisco, the project incorporates an array of green features including energy efficient design, recycled and salvaged materials, low-toxic and natural finishes, and photovoltaic panels. It is currently under construction.
